Following a months-long investigation, Haverstraw Police identified Brahyan CepinRodriguez as a suspect in the incident, which occurred in late December 2024. He was taken into custody last week and charged with two counts of first-degree rape, Haverstraw Police announced on Monday, March 3.
CepinRodriguez was arraigned in Village of Haverstraw Justice Court, where his bail was set at $25,000 cash, $40,000 bond, or $40,000 partially secured bond, police said.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released in the future.
